Your move in date is dependent on your residence hall assignment and student status. Please follow all specified move in and key pick-up directions to ensure you are able to move into your hall assignment upon arrival to campus.
Please note:
- Convocation is at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Jersey Mike's Arena.
- There is a HOME FOOTBALL GAME on Thursday, August 28, 2025. There will be NO scheduled move-ins on this date.
- The Involvement Fair is on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

Check-In Step-by-Step
Important Reminders about Check In
- Arrive anytime during your assigned 1-hour appointment window
- It is recommended that you complete move in within 3 hours of your arrival at the check in station
- Students must have a photo ID to complete check in
- Know your housing assignment, building and room number
How to Check-In
During Scheduled Appointment Times
- Arrive at the Yellow Lot or Lot 103 during your 1-hour appointment window.
- Exit your vehicle and follow the signs to The Quads. Use the main entrance and report to the Quads check-in table.
- Receive your key(s) and a post card with directions and other important information.
- Park in designated unloading zones.
- Unload your vehicle. Do not leave belongings unattended.
- Move your car to long-term parking spaces/overflow lots
- Begin moving belongings to your assigned room

- Early Arrival
Only students who have completed the Early Arrival/Move-In Team Volunteer form and have been confirmed approved are able to move in on Sunday, August 24, 2025 between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Key pick-up is in the Residence Life Office on your campus where your hall assignment is.
